Critical Care
The division is committed to providing an excellent educational environment and to advancing research in critical care. The spectrum of conditions treated by division faculty includes respiratory failure, circulatory failure, sepsis, meningitis, near drowning, head trauma, burns, pulmonary disorders, including asthma, heart conditions, liver failure, the entire spectrum of kidney disorders, oncology and hematology disorders, and post-cardiac catheterization care. Faculty members in the division provide clinical services at UCI Health and CHOC Children’s Hospital.
